AMY TYNDALL is an interior designer specializing in interiors, space planning and construction management. With extensive experience since 1999 designing residential and commercial interior design projects, her portfolio demonstrates her diverse range of creativity.

Amy received her Bachelor of Science degree in 1999 from Appalachian State University where she majored in drafting and design and minored in interior design.  Her focus was deliberately not only on interior design, but also on construction and the building process- all of which make her a very knowledgeable and effective interior designer.

Amy Tyndall began her professional career focusing on space planning for commercial and multi-family interior design projects. After a move to Wilmington in 2001, she joined a local architecture firm where she focused more on residential and commercial interiors.  In 2004, Amy started working for a well-respected builder/developer in Wilmington. There she worked closely with their team of developers and construction managers across multi-family, residential, and renovation divisions. She also assisted their clients by designing their custom homes, as well as designed and furnished the company’s model homes.

In 2009, Amy opened Amy Tyndall Design, a full service interior design firm. All of her design and construction experience has made Amy a very respected interior designer not only among her clients, but among her colleagues and construction professionals alike. Amy has been featured in several local and national magazine articles, designed multiple award winning spaces (including Parade of Homes gold awards, Multi-Family Executive project of the year and MAX! Awards Sales Model of the Year), and has been featured in a design oriented reality series.

Amy is a Professional Member of ASID and successfully completed the NCIDQ (National Council for Interior Design Qualification) licensing exam in 2008, earning her national certification.
